Emma Rose Paterson, Artist & Writer
Emma’s work explores boundaries between self and other, sound and silence, fluidity and solidity, outside and in, sexuality and the sacred.
Self taught from childhood, inspired by the work of fantasy artists, films and videogames, Emma later studied Drawing at Falmouth School of Fine Art.
She has developed her practice as a tool, a tether, for navigating a many layered reality. Her work attempts to bind her experiences of neurodivergence, altered states and alternative spaces to form.
